Hubbell Summer Internship: May-Aug 2027

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week experience designed to provide students with meaningful, hands-on exposure to a professional business environment. Interns gain valuable experience by contributing to real-world projects, collaborating with experienced professionals, and developing the skills needed to launch a successful career. Throughout the program, interns will learn about Hubbell's products, operations, customers, and business functions while making a meaningful impact on the organization.

A Day In The Life

  • Apply classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges and projects.
  • Support initiatives that drive business performance, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, innovation, or organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and professionals across the organization.
  • Analyze data, processes, systems, or business needs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with project planning, execution, documentation, and reporting.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations that support departmental goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop technical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills relevant to your field of study.
  • Build relationships with leaders, mentors, and peers while gaining exposure to various areas of the business.
  • Participate in professional development activities and networking opportunities.
  • Manage multiple assignments and priorities while working independently and as part of a team.
  • Gain industry knowledge and a deeper understanding of Hubbell's products, customers, and markets.
  • Present project outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations to local leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of study (required).
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (required).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment while also working independently.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) preferred.
  • Familiarity with software, tools, systems, or technologies related to your area of study is preferred.
  • Curiosity, initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

 

Compensation:
Intern compensation is determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date. Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour.
