Financial Services Associate
The INS Companies are seeking a Financial Services Associate to join our team.
Position Overview: The Financial Services Associate will be responsible for select billing, budget tracking, project maintenance, and general support of financial operations. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational and communication skills, strict adherence to deadlines, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. This is a remote, full-time position that requires a work schedule operating in standard business hours Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Billing:
- Process invoices monthly or per client requirements.
- Strictly adhere to state-specific invoicing and withholding guidelines.
- Monitor budgets for all active examinations.
- Report to supervisors on budgetary status for examinations that you invoice.
- Attend biweekly staff meetings and planning sessions as necessary.
- Maintain databases with precise client and examiner details.
- Provide excellent client support, encompassing invoice dissemination and resolution of any disputes.
- Maintain consistent, professional communication with supervisors, examiners, and all clients, ensuring timely and effective responses to all inquiries.
- Meet deadlines on all tasks.
- Assist management with accounts receivable by providing necessary follow-up information, verifying accounting details, and completing other tasks as requested.
Project Maintenance:
- Update our time and expense software, SpringAhead, with necessary information at the start and end of each examination and with any changes in examination details or staffing.
- Maintain examination log for INS Regulatory Insurance Services, Inc.; this includes tracking active examinations, sending reminders, and reporting on updates biweekly.
Other Financial Responsibilities:
- Track and record intercompany receivables.
- Complete vendor forms and provide banking information to clients and vendors as needed.
- Other tasks as requested, including various special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of two years in a finance-related role (preferred, but not required)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail oriented
- Extremely responsive
