Staffing Coordinator
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruitment, placement, and ongoing management of temporary and temporary to hire employees. This role serves as a critical link between clients, candidates, and internal teams, ensuring staffing needs are met efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Recruiting & Candidate Management
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for client job openings.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future staffing needs.
- Coordinate candidate onboarding, orientation, and employment documentation.
- Verify references, employment eligibility, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Communicate regularly with candidates regarding assignments, schedules, and employment opportunities.
Client Support & Staffing Operations
- Coordinate employee placements to meet client staffing requirements.
- Respond promptly to client requests and staffing needs.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and assignment completion.
- Assist with resolving employee and client concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure accurate scheduling and placement of employees.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Process onboarding paperwork and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Track staffing activity, placements, and recruiting metrics.
- Prepare reports and documentation as needed.
- Support payroll and timekeeping processes by collecting and verifying employee hours.
Relationship Management
- Build positive relationships with candidates, employees, and clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the recruitment and placement process.
- Conduct follow-up calls with employees and clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Promote employee retention through ongoing engagement and communication.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
1–3 years of experience in customer service or administrative support.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
