Marketing Intern
We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support our day-to-day digital marketing activities across email, social media, websites, content, and brand communications.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants practical experience working across multiple marketing channels, learning how campaigns are planned, launched, managed, and analyzed.
Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Assist with planning, creating, and launching email campaigns and newsletters.
- Prepare email copy, visuals, subject lines, and calls to action.
- Maintain and organize email lists and audience segments.
- Schedule campaigns and ensure emails are properly formatted and tested.
- Track open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and other campaign metrics.
- Help test different messaging, subject lines, and campaign approaches.
Social Media Management
- Help manage company profiles across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Create and schedule social media posts.
- Write captions and adapt messaging for different platforms and audiences.
- Coordinate visual assets, videos, graphics, and other content.
- Monitor comments, mentions, and relevant industry conversations.
- Research trends, competitors, hashtags, and content opportunities.
- Track engagement, follower growth, reach, and content performance.
Website Management
- Maintain and update website content, including pages, articles, news, images, and company information.
- Create and publish blog posts, news updates, case studies, and landing pages.
- Review websites regularly for outdated information, formatting problems, broken links, and other issues.
- Support basic SEO improvements, including page titles, meta descriptions, keywords, internal links, and content optimization.
- Coordinate website changes with designers and developers when necessary.
Content & Campaign Support
- Assist with content calendars and marketing campaign planning.
- Research topics and help develop articles, social posts, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Repurpose existing content across different channels and formats.
- Help prepare marketing materials for product launches, partnerships, events, and company announcements.
- Conduct competitor and market research.
- Maintain organized folders of marketing assets, brand materials, images, videos, and documents.
Marketing Analytics
- Monitor performance across email, social media, websites, and campaigns.
- Prepare simple weekly or monthly marketing reports.
- Identify which content and campaigns are performing best.
- Help the team use performance data to improve future campaigns.
Qualifications
- Current student, recent graduate, or early-career professional in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with social media platforms and digital tools.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and social media.
- Ability to manage several small projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn new software and AI-powered marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently while communicating clearly with the broader team.
Experience with tools such as Canva, WordPress/Webflow, Mailchimp or other email platforms, Google Analytics, Google Workspace, social scheduling tools, and AI content tools is a plus, but not required.
