Event Sales Team Leader || Athletes Wanted

Midtown Manhattan, NY | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | W2
$650–$1,200/week starting pay + uncapped weekly bonuses
Entry-Level | Paid Training | Performance-Based Growth

Competitive? Coachable? Good With People?

You might be surprised how well that translates to sales.

Weather is growing our NYC events team and looking for motivated people who enjoy competition, communication, teamwork, and getting better at what they do.

You'll represent established brands and nonprofit partners at pop-up events, live activations, and community campaigns throughout NYC, learning how to turn strong people skills into measurable sales results.

We don't expect you to arrive knowing how to sell. We do expect you to be willing to learn, take coaching, practice, and improve.

If you've played competitive sports, worked in hospitality or customer service, been involved in campus organizations, or simply thrive in environments where effort and results are noticed, that mindset can translate well here.

Learn the Playbook. Then Make It Your Own.

Your first few weeks are about learning the fundamentals: how to approach people, communicate value, handle questions, build confidence, and close.

From there, you'll work toward clear individual and team goals while getting regular coaching on your performance.

You'll:

  • Represent brands and campaigns at live events across NYC
  • Start conversations with new people and quickly build rapport
  • Learn practical face-to-face sales and closing techniques
  • Generate customers, supporters, leads, and sales
  • Track your results and identify where you can improve
  • Work alongside teammates who are pursuing the same goals
  • Learn from experienced team leaders through hands-on coaching
  • Take on leadership responsibilities as your skills and results develop

Why Athletes Tend to Get It

Sales and sports have more in common than people think.

You practice. You get feedback. You adjust. You perform. You keep score.

A bad interaction doesn't ruin your day—you move on to the next one. A strong week gives you a new standard to beat. And improvement comes from repetition, coaching, and consistency rather than waiting around for experience to happen.

That's the kind of mentality we're looking for.

This Could Be a Fit If You...

  • Like having goals you can actually measure
  • Enjoy competition without losing the team mentality
  • Respond well to coaching and feedback
  • Have the confidence—or willingness—to approach new people
  • Want your performance to influence what you earn
  • Get bored doing exactly the same thing every day
  • Want to develop sales and leadership skills early in your career
  • Are looking for more than another line on your résumé

No previous sales experience is required.

What You Get

  • Paid training from day one
  • $650–$1,200/week starting pay + uncapped weekly bonuses
  • Regular sales coaching and performance feedback
  • Hands-on experience in customer acquisition and event marketing
  • Leadership training as you progress
  • Opportunities to take on greater responsibility based on performance
  • Travel opportunities
  • Healthcare assistance program
  • A young, ambitious, team-oriented work environment

Know What You're Applying For

This is a full-time, face-to-face sales and marketing role.

You'll spend your days talking with people at live events, representing our clients, and working toward sales and customer acquisition goals.

It's not remote. It's not a desk job. And it's not a role where you can disappear into the background.

If you like being challenged, coached, and given something to work toward, we'd like to meet you.

Apply and see how your competitive edge translates.
