Social Media Intern

Silly Unicorn is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team.

A little about us: Silly Unicorn is a growing makeup brand creating clean, fun makeup specifically formulated for young skin. We’re building a new space in the beauty industry for the next generation and are looking for someone who is excited to grow alongside the brand.

This is a serious, hands-on internship for someone who wants real experience working at a growing startup. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day of the business and will have real responsibilities across all social media accounts. 

What you’ll do:
•⁠  ⁠Develop social media ideas and help build our content calendar
•⁠  ⁠Edit and film social content for Instagram and TikTok
•⁠  ⁠Help manage our social media DMs and community
•⁠  ⁠Post daily to our Instagram and TikTok
•⁠  ⁠Coordinate and send PR packages to influencers
•⁠  ⁠Maintain an organized log of PR outreach, responses, packages, and content
•⁠  ⁠Assist with additional marketing and brand initiatives as needed

This is an unpaid, in person internship, with the opportunity to receive class credit if approved by your school. We are also open to structuring a part time around your class schedule or a full time role if your schedule allows.

We are looking for someone who is creative, organized, reliable, proactive, and very comfortable with social media. You should be genuinely interested in beauty, marketing, and what it takes to build a brand from the ground up.

There is also potential for a paid full-time role after graduation for the right person who performs well and is a strong fit with the team.
