Real Estate Investment Intern

Full-Time Real Estate Investment & Deal Log Intern | Fall/Spring 2026–2027

Location: 1 World Trade Center, NYC — full-time, in-office
Compensation: Paid
Eligibility: Recent college graduates (Data Science preferred; Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, and Accounting also welcome)

About the Role
This role puts you close to how real healthcare real estate deals actually move, from a property's first appearance in our pipeline to the numbers that get it in front of our investment committee. CD Healthcare Infrastructure Manager is a real-asset investment platform that acquires and operates healthcare real estate, including outpatient medical buildings, healthcare retail conversions, and mission-critical sites for health systems and providers. We're a Top 10 Healthcare Real Estate Service Provider (2026, Healthcare Business Review). No prior real estate or PE experience needed — we're looking for a "can do, will do" attitude and excellent attention to detail.

What You'll Do

  • Deal Log Management: Own deal log allocations and maintain our deal log, tracking opportunities from sourcing through screening
  • Deal Screening: Support screening of new investment opportunities
  • Data & Diligence: Organize and analyze rent rolls, leases, P&Ls, and third-party property data
  • Market Research: Support market, tenant, and healthcare-system research on potential investment sites
  • Data Quality: Assist with data cleaning, enrichment, and QC across our investment databases
  • Deal Team Support: Help prepare materials and present findings to the deal team

What You'll Need

  • Financial & Analytical Aptitude: Comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial documents — or a fast learner
  • Excel Proficiency: Working knowledge of Excel; financial modeling experience a plus, not required
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous, with strong self-directed quality control
  • In-Office Reliability: A proactive communicator who's in our NYC office every day
  • Strong Academic Record: High GPA and consistent performance

What You'll Gain
You'll leave with real, hands-on deal experience — not just observation. By the end of your internship, you'll be able to speak concretely in real estate and PE interviews about how a deal moves from raw lead to investment committee, backed by actual pipeline and diligence work you did yourself, with direct mentorship from our investment team along the way.
