Content Creator/Brand Ambassador

The Role

You and a friend grab a mic, hit the streets of your city, and publish short-form, man-on-the-street interviews about hunger and food in America. You'll build a body of work, a following, and a paycheck. We supply the gear, the playbook, and the platform. You bring the voice, the chemistry, and the hustle.

This is not traditional journalism. It's creator-led, mobile-first, and built for Gen Z. If TikTok is your second language and you can make a stranger laugh in 30 seconds, keep reading.

What You'll Do

  • Film 1:1 street interviews with strangers about food, money, and hunger
  • Publish short-form video weekly across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Operate as a two-person team — one on mic, one on camera, swap as needed
  • Hit weekly content + engagement benchmarks tied to the leaderboard
  • Drive EAT Card signups in your community (uncapped referral earnings)
  • Represent EAT with curiosity, warmth, and zero condescension toward your subjects

Who We're Hiring

  • Currently enrolled in college
  • 18 or older
  • Apply as a two-person team: friends, roommates, podcast co-hosts, debate partners — someone who brings out the best in you on camera (romantic partners discouraged unless you can really make the case)
  • Comfortable approaching strangers and holding a real conversation
  • Can post consistently and meet weekly deliverables for 10 weeks
  • Phone-quality video skills are fine — we provide the upgraded kit

Nice to Have

  • Existing social presence (TikTok, IG, YouTube)
  • Personal connection to food insecurity, food service, or your local community
  • Comfort with editing short-form video
