We are seeking an energetic, young and dedicated Sports Coordinator to lead and manage a vibrant array of youth sports leagues (Flag Football, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball) and recreational activities at our facilities. This role is vital in creating an engaging, safe, and inclusive environment for guests of all ages and skill levels. The Sports Coordinator will oversee event planning, facility operations, team management, and guest services, ensuring every activity runs smoothly and exceeds expectations. Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Sport Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players, coaches and parents. The Sport Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skills levels.

Requirements

  • 1. Sport specific expertise in Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball or Baseball
  • 2. Excellent communication skills
  • 3. Ability to efficiently solve problems
  • 4. Highly motivated self-starter
  • 5. Ability to motivate and manage others (i.e. coaches)
  • 6. Extremely reliable and responsible
  • 7. Ability to take charge of any situation that involves the safety of players
  • 8. Superior customer service skills
  • 9. Ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays for the entire season and one training meeting
  • 10. Must be 18 years of age or older
