Media Ministry Intern

Experience Christian Church | Exton, PA

Experience Christian Church is seeking a college student interested in media, technology, communications, production, or digital ministry to join our Media Ministry as an intern.

This is a hands-on opportunity to learn church production and digital communications while working alongside experienced members of our Media Team. The intern will develop technical and creative skills while helping create excellent worship experiences for people attending in person and joining online.

Reports to: Technical Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Arrive by 7:00 AM on Sunday mornings to help prepare media equipment and production systems.
  • Assist with setup for worship services and livestreams.
  • Support audio, video, presentation slides, livestream, and lighting.
  • Learn basic troubleshooting and operation of media equipment.
  • Help tear down, organize, and properly store equipment after services.
  • Assist with creating and uploading social media content.
  • Edit and upload sermon messages to Vimeo and the church website.
  • Edit and prepare sermon content for YouTube and Facebook.
  • Assist with photography, videography, and digital content creation.
  • Help update church website content through WordPress.
  • Participate in other media and digital communication projects.
  • Stay connected with the Media Team through Planning Center and Microsoft Teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Eager to learn and develop technical and creative skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology or excited to learn.
  • Dependable and willing to serve.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable.
  • Creative and willing to take initiative.
  • Interest in media production, communications, digital media, technology, or a related field preferred.
  • No prior professional media experience is required. Training will be provided.

Schedule: Approximately 7:00 AM–12:00 PM Sunday mornings, plus approximately 2–3 additional hours during the week depending on responsibilities and scheduling.
