Experience Christian Church is seeking a college student who is passionate about children, faith, and ministry to join our eKids Children's Ministry as an intern. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical ministry experience while being mentored by experienced church leaders and serving children and families in the local church.
The Children's Ministry Intern will help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn about Jesus, build relationships, and experience God's love.
Responsibilities:
- Help lead and organize Sunday morning eKids programming.
- Teach Bible-based lessons and lead games, activities, and discussions.
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families.
- Assist with age-appropriate curriculum and lesson preparation.
- Help create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for children.
- Support and encourage eKids volunteers.
- Participate in children's ministry planning, events, and activities.
- Work alongside church staff and ministry leaders to gain practical ministry experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Growing relationship with Jesus and a heart for children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, responsible, and willing to serve.
- Comfortable working with children or eager to develop those skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Interest in children's ministry, education, pastoral ministry, or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and grow as a ministry leader.
Schedule: Sunday mornings, approximately 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, with additional hours as available and appropriate for the internship.
