Social Media Marketing Intern

Responsibilities, Duties & Projects:

• Assist with creating content for Instagram and other digital platforms
• Capture photo and video content within the salon and at applicable events
• Assist with filming and editing short-form video content, including Reels
• Help develop creative concepts for social media campaigns
• Create content highlighting salon services, transformations, education, team members, programs, and behind-the-scenes experiences
• Assist with writing captions and calls to action
• Help plan and maintain social media content calendars
• Research social media trends and identify opportunities that align with the DSimone Artistry brand
• Support marketing campaigns for salon services, apprenticeships, and educational programs
• Assist with promotional graphics and digital marketing materials
• Track social media engagement and help prepare performance summaries
• Conduct basic market and competitor research
• Support branding initiatives for new programs and locations
• Assist with community outreach and promotional events, as applicable
