Veterinary Technician – Feline-Only Practice

VCA Bay Hill Cat Hospital is a feline-only veterinary hospital that has proudly cared for cats and their families in the Dr. Phillips community for over 30 years.
We are looking for an experienced, feline-forward Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our team!
Skills Needed:
Venipuncture and sample collection
Feline restraint and handling
Vaccine administration
Digital radiography and proper X-ray positioning
Obtaining thorough patient histories
Assisting veterinarians during appointments and procedures
Maintaining accurate medical records
Technology savvy with vetmed softwares
Providing warm, professional, and compassionate client service & education
Fear Free Certification is a big plus! Experience with Fear Free, low-stress, or feline-friendly handling techniques is highly valued.

You May Be a Great Fit If You...
Have at least 1 year of veterinary technician/assistant experience
Understand that successful cat handling often means working smarter, not stronger
Have excellent communication and client-service skills
Are dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Can remain patient and compassionate with fearful, anxious, or stressed cats
