Construction Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager (Multifamily Housing/Residential Remodel)

Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, procurement, and execution of interior design projects for multifamily/ residential developments. This role manages all phases of the building process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.

Overall Summary of Project Manager Job:

  • Responsible for finding and qualifying sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Responsible for soliciting bids and putting together bid sheets for presentation.
  • Put together subcontractor contracts and change orders promptly.
  • Ensure job supervisors have all current information for their jobs.
  • Facilitate communication between the job and the office.
  • Spend an appropriate amount of time at each job site.
  • Collect documentation of the progress of jobs regularly for production. meetings and the permanent job files.
  • Create and maintain accurate schedules and communicate those schedules with the job supervisors and production manager.
  • Approve job invoices promptly.
  • Identify cost savings and overruns on the Construction in Progress reports.
  • Assist in communications with municipalities for permitting applications, requests for information, and approvals
  • Assist in maintaining construction accuracy and quality control on projects
  • Identify safety issues on site and help develop site-specific safety plans
  • Use new Technology in daily work, IE, Pro-core, and MS Project.

  • Ability to work on a schedule and to meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Based out of Brainerd, MN
  • Valid MN driver's license

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years experience with a degree or 5 years without a degree
