Corporate Supply Chain Intern

Position Summary

The Parker Hannifin Corporate Internship Program was established in 1978 to identify and develop college students who show promise of being productive Parker Team Members by providing real-world experience in disciplines critical to Parker’s business. As an intern, you will gain experience while supporting the department’s function.

Your Role

Possible areas of work include:

  • Procurement
  • Acquire skills to produce maximum profit and provide quality service
  • Develop insights to supply chain management
  • Review, approve, and process purchase orders
  • Set up new suppliers and supplier maintenance
  • Manage data
  • Update addresses, authorization list, and supplier payment terms in requisition system.
  • We seek interns who will make meaningful contributions in support of our service to our customers and the company’s Win Strategy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

This is an in-person role based out of Cleveland, OH.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a specialization or concentration in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
  • Have completed at least one year of college.
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 2.7
  • Have completed courses in Supply Chain Management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Available to work onsite 40 hours per week during the summer months (June - August).
  • Available onsite 10-20 hours per week during the school year.

Schedule can be flexible but require interns to be onsite at our Mayfield Heights office.
