Aviation Technical Writer
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of aviation documentation, including manuals, procedures, and training materials. This candidate should have strong communication skills that enable them to break down complex ideas into simpler terms. This individual will also meet with customers frequently in order to understand their exact needs and tailor in accordance with company directed policies and guidance. Full time position.
Responsibilities
- Explain technical ideas in concise language
- Meet with customers to establish technical specifications for deliverables
- Create, edit, modify user documentation for a variety of material
- Writing related assignments as directed by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in the Aviation Industry preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to understand highly technical information required
- Excellent mastery of the English language required
- Strong computer skills
- Legal right to live and work in the United States of America
Location
- Hybrid position: Santa Monica, CA.
Compensation
- $23 - $28 per hour
