Instagram-First Short-Form Video Editor & Content Creator

I'm hiring a full-time, in-person video producer to help plan, shoot, edit, and publish daily social media content for a keynote speaker, author, and entrepreneur based in Newport Beach. This role is on-site in Newport Beach five days a week — please only apply if you live in or near Orange County.

This is not a traditional social media manager role, not a traditional videographer role, and not a filmmaking role. I need someone who understands short-form video, personal brand content, hooks, storytelling, fast editing, and daily publishing.

You'll help turn ideas, keynote clips, behind-the-scenes moments, book content, travel days, client stories, and thought leadership into high-performing videos — Instagram first, then repurposed to TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts. Expect to publish 5–7 videos a week, every week.

Responsibilities include:

· Planning weekly content themes and shoot lists

· Shooting vertical video in Newport Beach and occasionally on location

· Editing short-form videos with captions, music, pacing, B-roll, and strong hooks

· Posting/scheduling daily content

· Pulling clips from keynotes, podcasts, Zooms, and existing footage

· Tracking what performs and helping shape future content

· Keeping the content organized, consistent, and on-brand

Ideal candidate:

· Lives in or near Orange County and can be on-site daily

· Has a strong portfolio of Reels/TikToks/Shorts that performed

· Can shoot clean vertical video and capture great audio

· Edits quickly and understands social pacing — can turn a two-hour keynote into three publish-ready verticals in a day

· Is organized, proactive, creative, and comfortable working closely with a personal brand

· Bonus if you understand speakers, authors, entrepreneurs, coaches, or thought leaders
