Paralegal
We are seeking a paralegal who can start as soon as possible in New York City (in-person).
Training would be completed by September 1st, 2026.
This position is great for those interested in eventually going to law or business school. We welcome applicants from a wide variety of backgrounds. Past paralegals have successfully transitioned to managerial roles at other companies, gone to law school (then to top firms), and pursued many other ventures. Our firm provides exposure to a corporate-adjacent environment. This role is usually done by a recent college graduate.
We are looking for a 2-year commitment. Our office is in Manhattan, and the role is in person Mon-Fri. The paralegal will get their own office.
The firm consists of two lawyers whom the paralegal supports. The lawyers deal with many important employment law cases involving firms in the finance and banking world.
The breakdown of the role is part office manager, part personal assistant, part business manager, and part paralegal. You will be exposed to every inch of the firm and, in turn, will gain incredible experience and responsibility that comes with working for a small firm. Some days, most responsibilities will be administrative, while others will provide a front-row seat to sophisticated legal work, attending multimillion-dollar mediations, client strategy meetings, and possible travel for destination mediations. You will develop a strong relationship with both of the attorneys.
To apply, please email jakesingerdeutschllp@gmail.com your resume and cover letter.
