Schedule: Approximately 8–10 hours per week (flexible around class schedules)
Compensation: $250 monthly stipend

About Texas Culinary Institute
Texas Culinary Institute is a culinary education center dedicated to bringing people together through hands-on cooking experiences. We offer recreational cooking classes, youth programs, team-building events, and private culinary experiences. We are seeking a creative and motivated student who is eager to gain real-world experience in graphic design and digital marketing while contributing to a growing local business.
Position Summary
The Graphic Design & Digital Marketing Intern will work directly with the Marketing & Operations Manager to support the planning, design, and execution of marketing initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience creating professional marketing materials, managing digital content, and contributing to branding efforts that reach the El Paso community.
Responsibilities
- Design graphics for social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
- Create promotional materials for cooking classes, camps, and special events.
- Assist with content planning and social media scheduling.
- Capture and edit photos and short-form videos during classes and events.
- Develop marketing assets that maintain a consistent brand identity.
- Assist with email marketing and digital communications.
- Support seasonal promotions and community outreach initiatives.
- Research marketing trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Operations Manager on creative projects and campaign execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current UTEP student pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva.
- Interest in branding, social media marketing, photography, and digital content creation.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
- Portfolio of class or personal work preferred.
