The Dalles Veterinary Hospital has been serving the Columbia River Gorge since 1968 and is one of the longest-established veterinary hospitals in the region. We are a privately owned, progressive small animal practice dedicated to providing exceptional medicine, outstanding client service, and a supportive team environment.
Our doctors are supported by experienced licensed veterinary technicians, skilled veterinary assistants, and a knowledgeable client service team, allowing you to focus on practicing quality medicine while delivering excellent patient care.

What You'll Do
- Perform wellness and preventive care examinations
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions in companion animals
- Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry
- Develop treatment plans and communicate with clients
- Utilize modern diagnostic equipment, including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house IDEXX laboratory
- Collaborate with an experienced veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
- Eligible for Oregon veterinary licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to high-quality medicine
- Interest in building long-term relationships with clients and the community
