Location: Clinton, IA
Pay: Starting at $21.00/hour
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)
Perks: Every other weekend off
Are you looking to build your career in a laboratory environment where quality, safety, and teamwork matter? We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to perform analytical testing that helps ensure products meet the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine quality control testing and document results accurately.
- Conduct wet chemistry and laboratory instrument testing for in-process and finished products.
- Analyze test results and communicate findings to production and leadership.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and data entry.
- Support safety initiatives and maintain a clean, organized laboratory.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and assist with inventory as needed.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree in Science or related field preferred, or equivalent laboratory experience.
- Experience with analytical testing in a manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques and laboratory instrumentation.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and accurate data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow technical procedures and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
- Climb stairs and ladders as needed.
- Work safely in a manufacturing laboratory environment.
