Marketing Assistant & Event Coordinator

Assist popular event venue business and plant nursery with marketing outreach programs to local businesses for in-garden classes on weekdays including communication materials, class structure and assistance during classes as needed. Facilitate and assist with on-site events. Coordinate communications between the venue, the client and the client’s vendors as needed. Provide digital marketing support and content on Instagram, take photos during events for future Instagram posts and marketing programs (being careful to respect clients’ privacy), create content with La Herbalista team member. Assist with inventory updates on our inventory management program (we will train). A love of gardening and plants is a plus! Classes are typically garden-related like, ‘How to Create a Window Herb Garden’, ‘Make Delicious Mock-tails’, ‘Build a Terrarium’ etc.
