Social Media Intern in Philadelphia

Location: Philadelphia, PA  (remote with frequent on-site content shoots)
Hours: Estimated 5-10 hours per week
Start Date: October 2026

Compensation: Paid internship, $500 / month

Role Overview

We're seeking a creative and energetic Social Media Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for college students (any year) who are passionate about social media and looking to grow their career in a fast-paced agency environment. The right candidate will have the opportunity to advance to a full-time Social Media Manager after graduating.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage social media content across platforms (mainly Instagram and TikTok)
• Develop and execute short-form video content that aligns with client brand guidelines
• Participate in on-site content shoots
• Design visually appealing graphics using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Collaborate with the team to develop content calendars and social media strategies
• Monitor social media trends and recommend innovative approaches
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports for clients
• Take part in the growth of Brand Capture as a whole including business strategy and sales

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in-progress in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
• Portfolio of short-form video examples demonstrating creativity and platform knowledge
• Proficiency with Canva and Capcut or editing equivalents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Genuine passion for social media and understanding of platform-specific best practices
