Whip It Good Catering is looking for an energetic, creative, and motivated part-time intern to jump into the exciting world of marketing, entrepreneurship, and small business operations.
As a locally owned, women-owned catering company in the heart of Indianola, we're passionate about bringing people together through great food while giving back to the community we love. We believe work should be fun, collaborative, and meaningful and we can't wait to welcome a Simpson student to our team! We are located on the historic Indianola square, just a few blocks away from campus.
As our intern, you won't be stuck making coffee or filing paperwork all day. You'll gain hands-on experience and have the opportunity to make a real impact by helping us grow our brand and connect with our customers.
What you'll get to do:
- Create fun, engaging social media content
- Design graphics for events, promotions, and marketing campaigns
- Help keep our website fresh and up to date
- Research new business opportunities and sales leads
- Assist with marketing projects and brainstorming sessions
- Support administrative tasks that keep our business running smoothly
- Pitch new ideas. We love creativity!
We're looking for someone who:
- Loves marketing, social media, and storytelling
- Enjoys graphic design and creating eye-catching content
- Is organized, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Isn't afraid to think outside the box
- Wants to learn what it's really like to help run and grow a successful small business
