EPI Emerging Leaders Intern
The EPI Emerging Leaders Program is a 12-week internship designed to provide students with hands-on experience in a growing professional education company. Interns will gain exposure to executive leadership, business operations, marketing, member engagement, and strategic initiatives while working alongside teams across the organization.
Exit Planning Institute (EPI) is the leading professional education company dedicated to helping business owners maximize the value of their companies and achieve successful exits through the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation and Value Acceleration Methodology™.
Responsibilities:
Complete portions of EPI's onboarding curriculum and the CEPA® Program to gain a foundational understanding of the company and industry.
Support the Marketing and Member Experience teams on projects and initiatives.
Assist with organizing and maintaining member data, contact records, and internal systems.
Participate in member engagement efforts and customer experience initiatives.
Assist with event planning and execution, including internal meetings and company programs.
Create and organize marketing materials and communications.
Attend company-wide meetings and shadow leaders across multiple departments.
Collaborate with team members on strategic and operational projects.
Present a final capstone project highlighting key accomplishments and lessons learned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree (all majors encouraged to apply, with preference given to Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, Finance, Sociology, or related fields).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is preferred.
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a growing organization.

Program Details:
$16/hour
Hybrid work environment with two required in-office days per week in Westlake, Ohio
Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments
Weekly one-on-one meetings with a supervisor
Exposure to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
