Lab Technician (Biology/GMP/Chemistry/Medical Device)

Pride Health/Russell Tobin is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join our client's medical device testing team.

We are offering a 1-year contract opportunity in a collaborative laboratory environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with laboratory or scientific experience to support medical device testing, quality initiatives, and product development while working in a regulated cGMP setting.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform physical testing of medical devices and combination products to support R&D, verification, complaints, and stability programs.
  • Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory testing while maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with cGMP requirements.
  • Perform laboratory maintenance, sample preparation, inventory management, and equipment support activities.
  • Assist with complaint investigations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality, operational, and project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 0–5 years of laboratory, quality, or scientific testing experience.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory testing techniques and cGMP documentation practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a laboratory environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and safely work with laboratory equipment and chemicals.

Important Details:

  • Employment Type: 1-year Contract opportunity.
  • Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM PT.
  • Location: 100% On-site.
  • Interview Process: Two rounds — 30-minute interview with the direct supervisor followed by a 45-minute panel interview.
  • Work Environment: Laboratory setting with required PPE and exposure to laboratory chemicals and equipment.
  • Pay Range: $22/hr - $25/hr
