Overview:

This New Jersey farm is a side project that we are working on, allowing interns to contribute to real agricultural projects while developing practical scientific knowledge.ULimo is seeking motivated Agricultural Science Interns to support projects focused on crop production, soil science, plant health, sustainable farming practices, and overall farm management. Interns will help research scientific methods that improve agricultural productivity while promoting responsible environmental stewardship.

This internship provides hands-on experience applying agricultural science principles to real-world farming operations. Interns will gain exposure to crop management, field research, agricultural technology, and sustainable farming practices while working alongside leadership on long-term agricultural initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with crop production planning and management.
• Research plant health and disease prevention techniques.
• Support soil testing and fertility improvement initiatives.
• Collect and organize agricultural research data.
• Monitor crop growth and environmental conditions.
• Research sustainable farming practices.
• Prepare reports on agricultural findings.
• Collaborate on farm management projects.
• Support long-term agricultural planning initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Agricultural Science, Biology, Plant Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Interest in crop production, soil science, and sustainable agriculture.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to collect, organize, and interpret scientific data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
