Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk
A local company is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk in Pensacola, Florida. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in a professional environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks
- Assist with accounts payable (AP): enter bills, process payments, track due dates
- Assist with accounts receivable (AR); create invoices, post payment, follow up on past-due accounts
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Answer basic accounting questions from vendors and clients
- Maintain vendor and customer records
- Track purchase orders, receipt and reimbursements
- Assist with special projects and general office duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of bookkeeping/accounting support experience
- Quickbooks experience required (Online and/or Desktop)
- Familiarity with AR/AP, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Compensation and Benefits:
- For this position, starting pay is $16-18/hour
- Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
