Priority 1 Lending is a fast-growing mortgage company dedicated to providing clients with a smooth, transparent, and high-quality lending experience. We are expanding our team and looking for a motivated Loan Partner to support our loan officers, help manage client pipelines, and ensure each file moves efficiently from application to closing.

Position Overview

The Loan Partner plays a critical role in supporting our loan officers, managing borrower communication, gathering documentation, structuring files, and preparing applications. This position is perfect for someone with mortgage experience who enjoys working directly with clients, problem-solving, and keeping files highly organized.
Think of this role as a hybrid between a Loan Officer Assistant and a Junior Loan Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers regarding documentation, disclosures, and updates.
  • Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.).
  • Gather required conditions and ensure files meet underwriting guidelines.
  • Prepare loan applications in LOS
  • Maintain accurate notes, communication logs, and file status updates.
  • Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and title companies to ensure timely closings.
  • Review credit reports and help structure loan scenarios when needed.
  • Manage follow-ups, appointment scheduling, and pipeline tracking for the loan officer.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through proactive communication and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications:- The following experience is preferred, but we are motivated to train the right candidate:

  • Minimum 1+ year of mortgage experience (Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Partner, Processor, or Loan Officer).
  • Strong understanding of mortgage loan products (FHA, Conventional, VA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with automated underwriting systems (DU/LP).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with LOS systems preferred.
  • NMLS license (Preferred, not required).

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation + monthly bonus opportunities
  • Growth path to become a licensed Loan Officer (if not already)
  • Supportive team environment and strong company culture
  • Training, mentorship, and career development
  • Benefits package (optional—add if applicable)
