Social Media Content Creator
Exhaled Hope is a faith-based podcast and apparel line for women working through their faith in a real way - where doubt and belief sometimes collide. We're looking for someone to take our weekly podcast content and turn it into social media posts that actually sound like us: real, warm, fun/funny and never preachy.
This isn't a "post whatever's trending" job. Every piece of content comes from an existing podcast episode. You'll need to read the source material, understand the emotional core of it, and rebuild it for Instagram, Threads, TikTok, etc.
What you'll do
- Turn one weekly podcast episode into a full week of social content: Instagram/Facebook reels, Threads posts, and supporting captions
- Write SEO-informed captions that reflect the actual content of the episode, not just aesthetic filler
- Draft short scripts or on-screen text for talking-head and voiceover reels (no heavy production required)
- Track what's working and adjust the weekly format based on engagement, not habit
- We will work together to script content for the week.
What you need
- Comfortable writing in a specific brand voice, not your own personal voice
- Understands faith-based content and can write about it without sounding like a sermon
- Basic video editing skills for reels (CapCut, InShot, or similar — nothing high production)
- Some working knowledge of Instagram, Threads, and TikTok trends and how algorithms treat each differently
- Strong writing skills. This is a writing-heavy role before it's a design role
Nice to have
- Experience with faith-based or lifestyle content specifically
- Familiarity with Canva or similar tools for quick graphic templates
- Any background in podcast or long-form content repurposing
