Financial Analyst – Entry Level (Full-Time)

Fiscal Advisors & Marketing, Inc., a leading independent municipal advisory firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Syracuse office. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public finance, working directly with municipalities and school districts to help them secure funding for critical infrastructure and community projects.

What You’ll Do:

You will play a key role supporting our senior leadership and client service teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Communicating directly with clients to gather financial data and understand their funding needs
  • Conducting detailed analysis of client financial statements and related data
  • Assisting in the preparation of official statements and offering documents for municipal bond sales
  • Supporting the execution of municipal security transactions
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth and successful deal execution

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Willingness to obtain the Series 50 Municipal Advisor Representative license (firm-sponsored)

This is an entry-level position, but we welcome candidates with all levels of experience if your background aligns with our needs.
