Graphic Design Intern

Some of the most important creative work happens before the audience ever hits play.

A pitch deck can win a project. A thumbnail can earn a click. A graphic can communicate an idea in an instant. At Phelps Creative House, graphic design helps connect every stage of the creative process, from the earliest concepts to the final deliverable.

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to join our team for Fall 2026. You'll work alongside our Project Manager + Creative Specialist and the rest of our creative team to create visual assets that support both Phelps Creative House and our clients.

This internship is all about helping ideas look their best and communicate clearly. You'll get hands-on experience creating graphics for video content, social media campaigns, branding projects, and production materials. From designing thumbnails, titles, and motion graphics assets to helping build presentations and promotional pieces, you'll learn how design supports storytelling long before a project is finished.

You'll work closely with producers and editors, contributing to real projects while continuing to develop your own creative voice. Along the way, you'll gain experience taking feedback, solving design challenges, and creating work that is both visually engaging and purposeful.

Great ideas and people come from everywhere. We've had interns join us from across the country, even the West Coast. If you're open to being here in person, we'd love to hear from you for this internship based in Broad Ripple, IN.

This is a paid internship at $15/hr, and it's a great opportunity to build your portfolio, sharpen your design skills, and gain real-world experience inside a creative production environment.
