Social Media Content Creator

We originally pictured this as an internship, but honestly, we’re open to whatever works best for you.

If you’re in school, we’d love to help you build your portfolio and resume. If you’re just looking to gain some experience creating content for an established brand, that’s great too.

*This is not a getting coffee or taking lunch orders internship. You will be running our social media and have full creative control with guidance while you learn about our niche brand*

We’re a small creative team, and we’re looking for someone else creative who wants to make cool things, not just schedule posts.

About DharmaShop

For over 25 years, we’ve worked directly with artisan families in Nepal to bring handcrafted singing bowls, mala beads, home decor and spiritual goods to people around the world.

Everything we do revolves around storytelling, craftsmanship, and authentic human connection. Whether thats in our office, to our customers, or showing how our products would exist in someone's home and life.

What You’ll Do

• Create content for TikTok and Instagram
• Take photos and videos of products
• Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, etc.)
• Learn what performs well, and create more of it
• Help shape the voice and personality of our social media
• Brainstorm new ideas and experiment
• Pinterest experience is a bonus (but not required)
• Work on Apple products (iMac, macbook)

Hours: 10–20 per week (very flexible)

We also handle a lot more digital marketing in the office. From Google and Meta Ads to Klaviyo email campaigns and physical marketing. If you have an interest in any of these, we can carve out some time for that as well.

Who We’re Looking For

We don’t really care about your GPA, we care whether you’re creative and excited to make a role your own.

Maybe you already make TikToks, or you love photography, or editing videos in Canva or CapCut.  Show us what you’ve made (!!!)

A few requirements

• Be a good human.
• No drama.
• No racism, sexism, homophobia, or hate of any kind.
• Be curious.
• Be willing to learn.
• Be excited to create.

One more thing…

This is a creative position. We want your ideas. AI can be a tool for research and organization, but we aren’t looking for someone to have AI make our content for them.  We want someone with their own creative voice who uses technology tastefully and thoughtfully.
