Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated first-year associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about serving clients with modest means, eager to learn, and ready to take on responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to develop your legal skills in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on various legal issues.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client representation.
- Manage a caseload with supervision, ensuring timely and effective case handling.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Oregon State Bar (or pending admission).
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine interest in family law and a commitment to providing excellent client service to those with modest means.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Compensation through a revenue-sharing agreement with a minimum base monthly salary.
- No billable hour requirements, allowing for a balanced and client-focused approach.
