Missouri Manager - Education Partnerships

AmTab is looking for a successful candidate to fill the role as Missouri Manager – Education Partnerships as outlined below. This individual is responsible for establishing and developing strong ongoing long-term partnerships within our markets in order to provide our quality Learning Environments consisting of our Furniture and Signage Graphics Décor to the marketplace.

SUMMARY: This role will focus on sales and project management for Education in the K-12 and Higher Education markets in Missouri. Travel throughout the state will be a part of the position encompassing trade shows and in-person meetings with distributors and end-users.  A perfect opportunity for a driven person who is detail oriented and looking for a successful long-term career.

COMPENSATION: Salary plus additional compensation with a competitive benefits package

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PARTNERSHIPS

  • Develop new and grow existing partnerships in the K-12 Market and Higher Education Market
  • Qualify new leads while prioritizing high impact partnerships
  • Work with Clients, Distributors, Architects, Consultants, Designers, etc. to position AmTab as the customer’s primary Learning Environments provider consisting of our Furniture and Signage Graphics Décor 
  • Strategically organize and develop sales action plans
  • Knowledgably present range of products and services available highlighting AmTab Advantages
  • Deliver verbal and written presentations to clients
  • Provide timely and comprehensive quotes for clients and prospects
  • Negotiate sales terms and product details with clients and prospects
  • Grow revenue in the Missouri territory
  • Follow up and documentation is critical to the sales process
  • Excellent people skills and always maintaining positive upbeat relationships with the marketplace is key to success

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND PROCESS

  • Oversee the project from specification/design to quote to completion, but will utilize the AmTab Team as needed to drive the project
  • Communicate clearly and often with clients throughout the buying process so clients are well informed throughout the project
  • Work closely with internal team members and external partners to ensure a smooth project and client experience
  • Maintain organized files to ensure all team members can stay in sync
  • Know the product line, understand the process, and drive for results

 

INSTALLATION

  • Coordinate internal team members, external vendors, and customer for prompt and precise installation of purchased products
  • Develop a basic understanding of applicable Labor Regulations
  • Visit job sites as needed, field measurements, successful installs

OTHER

  • Participate in sales meetings as requested
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AA Degree from a Community College (Bachelor Degree preferred)
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and familiar with database management
  • Multitasking with ability to keep numerous projects in motion
  • People oriented with attention to details
  • Must be able to travel lightly to meeting with clients and exhibit at tradeshows
  • Self-starter, self-motivated with common sense
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Clean DMV
  • Must pass background check with the state to work at school sites
  • Positive attitude and great people skills are a must
  • Must always be coachable to have a mindset of continuous self development and self-improvement to maximize potential
  • Must be likeable and sociable to be a “people person” to resonate with all clients and build rapport with everyone quickly
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and pay meticulous attention to all aspects of the sales process to ensure client satisfaction
