Collections Operations Manager

Collections/Operations Manager

Full-Time | Exempt | In-Office | Pompano Beach, Florida

Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 (Salary + Bonus)

We are looking for a driven, ambitious professional to help improve analytics, strategy, process improvement, and execution within our Loan Operations and Servicing department.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze current processes, staffing structures, and operational strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with IT and Data Analysts to automate operational processes that improve efficiency and support managers and collectors.
  • Evaluate customer communication strategies and recommend initiatives to improve engagement and contact rates with delinquent customers.
  • Help oversee operational strategies involving dialer campaigns, text messaging, email, chat, and customer self-service tools.
  • Lead initiatives related to hiring strategy, employee training, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Partner with departmental leadership to develop reporting, metrics, and performance management strategies.
  • Research vendors, technology, and AI solutions that improve operational effectiveness and customer engagement.
  • Document departmental workflows and business processes.
  • Assist in managing and developing a small team while helping drive departmental performance and results.

What We Are Looking For

  • 0-1 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Highly analytical with a passion for solving problems and improving processes.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable getting into the weeds.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Desire to lead, mentor, and develop employees.
  • Prior supervisory experience or experience managing a team strongly preferred.
  • Prior collections experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Curious, resourceful, and driven by continuous improvement.

Location Requirement

This position is 100% in-office at our headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Candidates currently living outside of South Florida are welcome to apply; however, relocation to South Florida is required.
