Entry Level Patent Prosecution Assistant
Job Summary
The Junior Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support and assistance to designated legal assistants, attorneys, and/or patent agents in efforts to render high quality representation to our clients.
Principal Job Duties
- Prepare and draft various forms and legal documents for attorney/agent signatures.
- US and Foreign Patent Office reporting
- Review and report legal documents to clients. Draft and prepare correspondence to clients and foreign associates.
- Document preparation such as Information Disclosure Statements, assignments, declarations, patent applications, amendments, etc.
- Opening client files; processing closed and transferred in/out files.
- Other administrative duties such as special mailings, data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Assist other Legal Assistants as needed and as required during absences.
- Related administrative duties as needed and as requested by Supervisor.
