Marketing Intern

If you are interested in the role, please send an email to hiring@stridesoles.com with the subject line 'Marketing Intern'.

About Stride Soles

We make custom orthotics the way they should be made: German podiatric engineering, manufactured in the USA, priced at a fraction of a clinic visit. Customers take a quiz, scan their feet with our iOS app, and get a prescription-grade orthotic designed for them. Think Warby Parker, but for the thing holding up your entire body.

We are small, fast, and building something people actually feel under their feet every day. You will work directly with the founder and a tight team of operators, clinicians, and designers.

The Role

We are looking for a marketing intern who lives on Reddit and understands how real communities work. This is not a "schedule the posts" job. You will help us show up authentically in the places our customers already are: runners, triathletes, HYROX athletes, people dealing with foot pain, and folks who research everything before they buy.

What you will do:

  • Find and engage the subreddits and communities where our customers spend time, and help us participate in a genuine, non-spammy way that respects each community's rules.
  • Run small growth experiments across Reddit, organic social, and other channels, then tell us what worked and what flopped.
  • Draft content and copy that sounds like a human, not a brand deck.
  • Support our email and social efforts and pitch in wherever a startup needs hands.
  • Bring us ideas. If you see an angle we are missing, we want to hear it.

What we are looking for

  • Deep Reddit fluency. You understand the culture, the etiquette, and why most brands get torn apart there. You know the difference between adding value and shilling.
  • A track record you can show us. In your application, walk us through community or Reddit marketing you have actually done: campaigns you ran, communities you grew, posts that landed, and the results. Sharing a public handle or links to your own work is welcome and helps your case, though entirely your choice.
  • Ambition. You want ownership, you move fast, and you are happiest when you are building rather than waiting for instructions.
  • Startup fit. Ambiguity does not scare you. You like wearing multiple hats and seeing your work ship the same week you thought of it.
  • Strong academic background. Currently enrolled at or recently graduated from a competitive program, with the curiosity and rigor that tends to come with it.

No formal cover letter needed. Show us how you think.

Stride Soles is an equal opportunity employer.
