Media Coordination Internship
Help share the museum's mission by creating engaging content for social media, highlighting student visits, showcasing museum stories, and promoting educational programs and special events. This role plays an important part in expanding community awareness and increasing the museum's impact throughout Orange County and beyond.
We are looking for a creative, self-motivated individual who can work both independently from home and on-site at the museum, particularly during larger events and programs. The ideal candidate enjoys storytelling, has a strong eye for design, and is passionate about creating meaningful content that educates and inspires.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Instagram and Facebook for content creation and engagement.
- Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with museum staff.
- Interest in education, history, nonprofit organizations, or museums is a plus.
