Understood Care helps Medicare patients navigate the healthcare system. We pair patients with dedicated advocates who handle the hard parts: appointments, billing, benefits, home care, and everything in between, at no out-of-pocket cost to the patient. We're an early-stage, fast-growing company (founded 2025) built around a small team and heavy use of AI tooling.
The role
You'll own creative velocity for our paid ads. Your job is to get more concepts, hooks, and variations into market every week, and use performance data to decide what to make next.
What you'll do
- Ideate and brief new ad concepts (video and static) for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
- Produce high volumes of ad variations: new hooks, openers, formats, copy angles
- Analyze ad performance and turn winners into iteration roadmaps
- Work with UGC creators: sourcing, briefing, reviewing
- Build repeatable AI-driven creative pipelines so output compounds over time
What we're looking for
- Deep hands-on fluency with AI creative tools: image generation (Midjourney, Flux, etc.), AI video (Veo, Runway, Kling, HeyGen or similar), and LLMs for scripting and copy variation
- You treat AI as your production team: you can go from concept to finished ad without a designer or editor
- You think in hooks and angles, not just aesthetics, and you're curious about what the data says
- Fast, scrappy, comfortable shipping imperfect work and iterating
- 0-2 years experience in performance creative, paid social, or content creation (internships, agency, or serious personal projects all count)
- Bonus: ads for older audiences or regulated categories (healthcare, insurance, finance)

- Salary: $65,000-$85,000 depending on experience
