AI Machine Learning Engineer

About NeuroHire

NeuroHire is building the next generation of AI-powered hiring technology.

Our platform combines Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to help businesses discover, evaluate, and hire talent faster and more intelligently.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for engineers who enjoy building production-ready AI systems—not just training models. If you're excited about solving real business problems using modern AI, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Overview

As an AI / Machine Learning Engineer, you'll build intelligent systems that power search, recommendations, resume understanding, semantic matching, conversational AI, and predictive analytics.

You'll work alongside software engineers, product managers, and data scientists to transform AI research into scalable production systems used by customers every day.

This role requires someone who enjoys writing production-quality code as much as building machine learning models.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and deploy scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions
  • Develop intelligent recommendation and ranking systems
  • Build NLP pipelines for resume parsing, job understanding, entity extraction, and semantic search
  • Develop applications powered by Large Language Models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or similar)
  • Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using embeddings and vector databases
  • Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize transformer-based models
  • Develop backend services and REST APIs that integrate AI capabilities into production applications
  • Design feature engineering and model training pipelines
  • Monitor model performance, latency, drift, and business impact in production
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Research emerging AI technologies and rapidly prototype new product capabilities
  • Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code following engineering best practices

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience building production AI or Machine Learning applications
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or XGBoost
  • Solid understanding of Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and Transformer architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Experience working with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Embeddings, and Vector Search
  • Experience integrating AI models into software applications using REST APIs
  • Strong understanding of SQL and large-scale data processing
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a software engineering mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience with OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, Hugging Face, or Cohere
  • Experience building AI Agents and Agentic Workflows
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or DSPy
  • Experience implementing RAG pipelines
  • Familiarity with Vector Databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Milvus, or FAISS
  • Experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML
  • Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, model monitoring, and evaluation
  • Experience building SaaS products serving thousands of users
