Supervisory Survey Statistician (Program Coordinator) GS-13

This vacancy is for a Supervisory Survey Statistician (Program Coordinator) position in the Associate Director for Field Operations located at the U.S. Census Bureau, Field Division, Regional Offices. A few positions are available at two (2) Regional Office locations.

This job is open to the public, and Career transition (CTAP, ICTAP, RPL).

Duties

  • Manages a highly complex survey or surveys, which requires routinely interacting with program coordinators to ensure data collection remains on track and within targeted budget levels.
  • Supervise and manage a team involved in data collection.
  • Plans procedures for collecting and tabulating data, recommends new or improved methods, and present findings.
  • Communicate progress of data collection operations to management and staff, including subordinates.
