Entry-Level Sales Representative
Entry-Level Sales Representative
Next Level Business Strategies
Position Summary
Next Level Business Strategies is looking for an Entry-Level Sales Representative who wants to learn professional business-to-business sales from the ground up.
This position is ideal for someone who is motivated, coachable, organized, and willing to do the daily work required to build a successful sales career. The role focuses on prospecting, appointment setting, customer outreach, in-person business development, and learning how to identify opportunities within local businesses.
Next Level helps small and mid-sized companies improve their copier, printer, document technology, and office workflow environments. Our sales team works directly with business owners, executives, office managers, finance leaders, and operations teams to help them reduce costs, improve service, and make better equipment decisions.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk-only position. The right person will be expected to make phone calls, send emails, visit businesses, follow up consistently, document activity in the company system, and earn the right to develop accounts over time.
Key Responsibilities
The Entry-Level Sales Representative will be responsible for creating new sales opportunities through consistent and professional sales activity.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospect for new business through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, in-person visits, referrals, networking, and company-provided lead sources.
- Set qualified appointments with businesses that may need copier, printer, document technology, or office equipment support.
- Visit local businesses in assigned territories to introduce Next Level and identify potential needs.
- Learn how to ask discovery questions that uncover business problems, vendor issues, lease timing, equipment concerns, service dissatisfaction, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, visits, emails, appointments, notes, and follow-up activity in the company customer relationship management system.
- Follow up with prospects and existing contacts on a consistent schedule so relationships are not lost.
- Work with management to prepare for appointments, customer meetings, assessments, and proposals.
- Participate in daily or weekly sales meetings, pipeline reviews, coaching conversations, and training sessions.
- Learn Next Level’s sales process, including prospecting, discovery, print assessments, business reviews, proposals, and customer follow-up.
- Represent the company professionally in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- Build long-term business relationships based on responsiveness, helpfulness, trust, and consistent follow-through.
- Support marketing campaigns, lead follow-up, and business development efforts as assigned.
- Continue learning about Toshiba, Sharp, office technology, print environments, leases, service programs, and customer business needs.
