We are seeking a motivated, patient-focused Front Desk Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our busy dermatology practice's front office. This role is ideal for someone with previous medical front desk leadership experience or a recent Healthcare Administration graduate who is eager to grow into a leadership position while learning the operational side of a thriving specialty practice.

What You'll Do
- Supervise and support front desk staff to ensure exceptional patient service and efficient daily operations.
- Lead by example in providing a welcoming, professional, and compassionate patient experience.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and training new front office team members.
- Monitor schedules, staffing coverage, and workflow to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure accurate patient registration, insurance verification, referrals, and appointment scheduling.
- Resolve patient concerns professionally while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Monitor front desk performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide ongoing coaching.
- Collaborate closely with providers, medical assistants, billing, and leadership to improve office operations.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and adherence to practice policies and procedures.
- Assist with administrative projects and other operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical front desk experience in a healthcare setting OR a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field with a strong desire to build a career in healthcare leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office.
Preferred
- Prior supervisory, lead, or management experience.
- Dermatology or specialty practice experience.
- Experience with insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorizations.
