Receptionist Front Desk Legal Assistant

Cammack Law PLLC is a growing San Antonio plaintiff-side personal injury and employment law firm seeking a part-time Receptionist / Front Desk Assistant. This is an in-office position at our Gulfdale Street location near the airport. You will be the first voice and first face of the firm for injured workers and clients facing some of the hardest moments of their lives.  Professionalism, warmth, and reliability matter here more than experience. The position is well suited to a current undergraduate student, including students considering law school who want real exposure to a litigation practice.

         What you'll own

  1. -Answering, screening, and routing incoming calls on the firm's phone system (RingCentral) during office hours and updating into our case management system. 
  2. -Greeting clients, potential clients, couriers, and vendors at the front desk
  3. -Capturing accurate contact information and a short summary from potential new client calls and entering it into the firm's intake system for attorney review 
  4. -Scheduling and confirming client appointments and consultations
  5. -Processing incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier packages
  6. -Scanning, naming, and saving documents to the correct client file in the firm's case management system (Clio) following firm naming conventions
  7. -Keeping the reception area and supply inventory client-ready
  8. -Light administrative support for the Managing Paralegal and legal staff as assigned

  12. -Currently enrolled undergraduate student (any major) or equivalent availability; sophomore standing or above preferred
  13. Professional, patient phone manner, as many of our callers are injured, out of work, or in distress
  14. -Reliability and punctuality; the front desk cannot run without you
  15. Comfort with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word) and the ability to learn new software quickly
  16. -Strict discretion and confidentiality. Everything you see and hear in this office is confidential, and you will sign a confidentiality agreement
  17. -Ability to work in-office within Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with a consistent semester schedule
