Operations Lead

I'm the founder of a luxury med spa and wellness company in Union Square. I built the systems, the tech, and the operations myself. The business is growing faster than one person can run it. I need an extension of myself: someone who takes ownership of a problem and returns with results — not status updates, not excuses.

 

WHAT THIS JOB IS

You own operational outcomes across the business: recruiting and credentialing clinical staff (IV nurses), client experience, inventory, vendor coordination, and daily execution. I set direction and build the backend systems. You make the physical business run.

 

THE STANDARD

A new client was mid-service and we ran out of a basic amenity. The right move: run across the street, buy it, get it in her hands within three minutes, and never let her know there was a problem. See the gap, close the gap, no announcement. That's the job.

 

WHAT OWNERSHIP LOOKS LIKE HERE

 

If nurse recruiting stalls because outreach isn't converting, you don't report that it stalled. You widen the funnel, test new channels, write the ads yourself, and show me response-rate numbers by Friday.

 

You never bring me a problem without a proposed solution.

 

You run a weekly written report — your numbers, your blockers, what you're doing about them. You schedule it. You never miss it.

 

YOU ARE

 

Relentlessly proactive: you've run something before (a business, a team, a club, a season) and can prove it

 

A problem-solver under ambiguity — no one hands you a checklist

 

Comfortable with spreadsheets, CRMs, and AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude); bonus if you've used them to automate work

 

Available full-time, in person, in Manhattan
