Operations Supervisor
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure projects and business processes run efficiently. This role is responsible for coordinating teams, monitoring workflows, improving productivity, and supporting operational goals in a fast-paced residential construction and remodeling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operational activities and ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Coordinate with project managers, office staff, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project schedules, resource allocation, and workflow to maximize productivity.
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Track operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Support inventory, equipment, and material coordination as needed.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to achieve performance goals.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate concerns when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, construction, logistics, or a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management software.
- Experience with scheduling, resource planning, and process improvement is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential construction, remodeling, or general contracting.
- Knowledge of project coordination and workflow management.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
