Chat Support Representative

A Chat Support Representative is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and professional customer support through online chat. This role involves resolving customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, processing requests, and ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve customer concerns related to products, services, orders, billing, or accounts.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide step-by-step guidance.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Document customer interactions and update customer records accurately.
  • Meet performance goals, including response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rate.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus).
  • Previous experience in customer service, chat support, or call center environments preferred.
  • Excellent written communication and grammar skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with customer service software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
