About Metzer Farms
Metzer Farms has been America's trusted waterfowl hatchery since 1978. For nearly 50 years, we've supplied ducklings, goslings, turkey poults, chicks, hatching eggs, and poultry supplies to customers nationwide. Our customers range from backyard poultry enthusiasts and homesteaders to small farms, feed stores, educators, and commercial operations.
We are seeking an organized, creative, and results-driven person to lead the company's marketing efforts. This position is responsible for managing social media, email marketing, website content, advertising, customer engagement, catalogs, trade shows, influencer partnerships, and promotional campaigns.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing many projects simultaneously, and capable of both creating content and analyzing marketing performance.
Position Summary
This person is responsible for planning, executing, and tracking all marketing activities for Metzer Farms. This role combines creative content development, digital marketing, graphic design, project management, customer engagement, and performance analysis.
They will collaborate with company leadership, customer service, hatchery operations, and external vendors to support company growth and strengthen the Metzer Farms brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce consistent, high-quality marketing materials and content
- Manage social media content, scheduling, engagement, and growth.
- Create and distribute customer and internal email newsletters.
- Update website content, blogs, graphics, reviews, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate advertising, influencer partnerships, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance, SEO, website traffic, and customer engagement to increase website traffic and online sales.
- Coordinate trade show materials, catalogs, merchandise, and promotional items.
- Support new product launches and seasonal marketing initiatives.
- Manage marketing projects and collaborate with internal teams and outside vendors
- Bring new ideas that help Metzer Farms continue to grow.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of marketing experience.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with social media, email marketing, and content creation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take ownership of projects
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments
- Passion for creating engaging content and finding creative ways to connect with customers.

Software Experience

- AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
