Job Title: Lead Consultant
Job Description:
The Lead Consultant is responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of the Small Business Outreach Program. This role serves as the primary point of contact with the client, oversees project implementation, ensures contract compliance, and supervises the Associate Consultant.
Key Duties:
- Serve as the primary liaison with the client.
- Manage the overall project schedule and deliverables.
- Plan and conduct staff and vendor training sessions.
- Lead networking events and outreach activities.
- Oversee updates to the certified vendor directory.
- Review and verify vendor certification information.
- Prepare monthly reports, statistical reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate press releases and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure quality control of all project deliverables.
- Supervise and provide direction to the Associate Consultant.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in supplier diversity, procurement, economic development, or related fields.
- Strong presentation, training, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and virtual meeting platforms.
